Design and develop data API solutions for consumers Design and develop Hadoop jobs to support offline data pipeline Design and develop services for online data flows. Drive infrastructure initiatives and implement robust and scalable solutions. Work with developers, architects, product managers and other stakeholders, facilitate and accelerate execution. Build systems with emphasis on system design experience, OOP programming, and functional programming. Be responsible for and lead the adoption of new and exciting technologies in order to drive innovation. Mentor, develop and train more junior team members in order to set them and the company up for success. Take part in the creation of a proven high-scale services that enable the developers to build applications at speed. Position is fixed location based in New York, NY office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience as a software development engineer.
