Neuberger Berman Software Developer II in New York, New York

The Investment Engineering team at NB is looking for an experienced software developer to join the team. You will be responsible for implementing and enhancing end-to-end technology solutions in the ecosystem used by portfolio managers, research analysts, trading and risk professionals. Some recent projects completed by the team and ones in the pipeline include - integration between OMS (CRD, Aladdin & Eze), EMS & various proprietary systems at NB, designing & implementing the next generation of syndicate management platform, platform for performing Transaction Cost Analysis [ TCA ], commission management platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and enhance technology solutions that address the business needs of the investment teams, research analysts, trading and risk professional

  • Design and implement interfaces for integration with various internal and external partner teams to streamline existing workflows

  • Collaborate with members of the QA [Quality Assurance] team to assist with testing of new features

  • Collaborate with members of the ASD [Application Support & Delivery] team for ensuring smooth rollout for the feature to PROD and post-rollout support.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software development and application integration experience in financial services

  • 3+ years of experience using Python and SQL is required

  • Experience using Microsoft’s technology stack using C# for ASP.NET and Web API

  • Experience developing web application using JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React is preferred

  • Experience with Snowflake and eco system of tools around is big plus

  • Exposure to Gen AI, related tools and framework is plus

  • Exposure to CRD, Aladdin, Eze, FlexTrade is preferred

  • Familiarity with enterprise technology tools: Tidal Enterprise Scheduler, Service Now, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Azure GIT

  • Knowledge of Scrum/Kanban and experience working on Agile teams

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$110,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
