Citibank, N.A. Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst in New York, New York

Duties: Create behavior models to predict propensity to click on an online banner for various products and offers and recommend next best offer. Optimize offers to decide the next best offer to be shown to customer on web, branch, mobile-app, and phones. Handle model performance tracking and governance to ensure models meet all legal standards for risk management compliance. Implement models in partnership with technology and Citi internal IT. Monitor model performance, identify gaps in model performance and evaluate means to enhance performance and drive value to the business. Design experiments to test different offer frequencies, new banners, new creatives, model enhancements, new optimization framework etc. Forecast financial metrics and KPIs for various offers available to existing customers on web, mobile-app and phones. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Finance, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience within the banking industry in the job offered or in a related occupation. Four (4) years of experience must include: Running analytical experiments to help evaluate cost benefit trade-off of different proposed strategies, and make proposals to senior management to facilitate decision making; Extracting and summarizing financial and marketing information using Enterprise Data Warehouse, Big Data Ecosystem, and distributed data computing tools including Hadoop, Hive, Impala and PySpark; Enhancing offer recommendation strategies through data mining and simulating scenarios; Providing deep data driven recommendations leveraging Python Analytics Environment and Excel; Creating machine learning and statistical models including leads scoring models; Developing and maintaining reporting dashboards using Tableau and Excel to implement new initiatives and deliver analytical insight, financial goals, and recommendations; and Interacting with regulatory stakeholders including Legal, Fair Lending, and/or Audit, to explain model inputs, algorithms, and outputs to ensure compliance. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience. Salary range: $182,100.00 to $203,500.00/yr. 40 hrs./wk.
