Temporary Position: Summer Special Education Program

DATES OF APPOINTMENT: Tentative dates are July 7, 2025, through August 15, 2025

HOURS: TBD by IEP recommendations

SALARY: TBD per Newark Teacher’s Association Contract *pending negotiations

QUALIFICATIONS: NYSED certification as a related services provider, desire to work with students in a teaching/learning capacity, emphasis on maintaining student skills throughout summer, ability to determine and meet student needs, ability to work well with students, teachers, and administrators.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide targeted instruction to maintain skill areas according to IEP to students with disabilities.

Job Qualifications

Valid NYSED Speech and Language Pathologist certification
