Adecco is now hiring a Powder Coater for our sheet metal fabricating plant. Experience is required applying powder coating finish in automated or batch electrostatic powder coating line. Duties include powder coating as well as equipment upkeep, prepping parts for coating, and loading conveyor line.

Duties :

• Load and Unload, paint line conveyor with sheet metal parts.

• Pre hang hooks, or parts on hooks, on conveyor line or racks, counting hook spaces.

• Assemble parts, installing nuts and bolts using manual or powered hand tools.

• Package finished parts.

• Inspect for paint quality during production.

• Sort parts by color, size and shape, material type, etc.

• Apply and remove masking tape, plugs & caps to sheet metal parts.

• Label parts using labeling gun or printed labels.

• Count parts for finishing and packaging.

• Organize and maintain hardware , hooks & supplies by type and size.

• Moving pallets with pallet jack.

Requirements - To be considered, Applicants for this position must:

• be able to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly; stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements; be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as needed;

• MUST be able to read and measure with a tape measure, ruler, etc.

• be on time to work every day;

• have good basic math skills (addition & subtraction)

• be able to work efficiently with appropriate speed and urgency, with attention to detail;

• have strong mechanical skills;

• Follow company procedures and safety rules.

• be able to take direction well;

• be able to work in cold or hot temperatures in plant.

Will train to read drawings! Opportunities exist for cross training and advancement.

Need to be flexible & available for overtime.

It's hot in the plant – work is near industrial ovens. Smoking IS allowed in plant. Long pants, closed toed shoes required. Must have reliable transportation and/or ability to get to work on time every day!

Pay Details: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
