Location: Hybrid (New York preferred)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Art Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and a systematic approach to design at scale. This role involves close collaboration with our creative director, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to ensure brand alignment and the creation of visually compelling content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development: Collaborate with the creative director to understand the overall brand and creative vision, and develop concepts that align with these goals.

• Project Management: Oversee the execution of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

• Design Execution: Create and review designs, artwork, photography, graphics, and motion graphics, ensuring high-quality output.

• Brand Alignment: Ensure all visual content aligns with the company's brand guidelines and design system.

• Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to designs.

• Motion Graphics: Develop and integrate motion graphics and animations to enhance the visual appeal of the website and other digital platforms.

• Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, developers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Art Director, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

• Design Skills: Proficiency in design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, and other relevant animation software.

• Motion Graphics: Demonstrated experience in creating motion graphics and animations.

• Systematic Design Thinking: Ability to apply design at scale across multiple touchpoints, ensuring coherence and consistency.

• Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with graphic designers and other team members.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and feedback clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Location: Based in New York with the ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days in the office).

• Industry Experience: Experience working in enterprise software or a related field is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
