Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Portfolio Analyst will be part of the Enterprise Portfolio team and report to the Director of Enterprise Portfolio. The Analyst will support the team responsible for strategy, design, planning, and execution required to successfully govern, oversee, and realize value from the strategic investment portfolio in alignment with our long and short-term strategic goals.

• Responsible for the collection of investment candidate information and development of candidate business cases through collaboration with business stakeholders, IS, and Finance colleagues

• Develop materials to facilitate the review of individual investment candidates and Enterprise Portfolio Oversight Workgroup/Enterprise Portfolio Oversight Committee sessions

• Maintains the financial/value profile of approved projects through their life cycle to support the delivery of the portfolio, with the goal of optimizing benefits, mitigating risks, and resolving issues impacting the overall portfolio health

• Maintain and enhance (as necessary) the tools and processes to monitor and track project delivery and identified value for all approved programs and projects within the enterprise portfolio from identification through the first year of value realization, ensuring all stated financial value is incorporated in financial planning

• Supports the creation and updating of dashboards and reports of the enterprise portfolio and all associated KPIs

• Helping create executive-level updates on the portfolio to senior executives, and facilitate business leaders doing the same by collaborating to develop clear, top-down communications (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, memos, quick status updates)

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Specialization in Health Care Administration, Marketing, Business, or Finance preferred.

• 2-4 years experience in a collaborative, problem-solving, or analytical field

• General knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and processes for strategic planning and portfolio management

• Ability to manage the progress of a strategic goal and ensure accountability of its success; ability to anticipate risks and manage accordingly

• Strong analytic and intellectual abilities with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive

• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

• Customer-oriented approach to working with direct reports, peers, customers and other stakeholders

• Strong verbal and written communications skills, and presentation skills

• Strong material development skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

NOTE: AmeriHealth Caritas utilizes a hybrid work environment with associates working from home two days a week and in the office three days a week. The functions of this position will be performed onsite at our offices located at 3875 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, 19073
