Organization: Global Customer Reference & Advocates team | SAP Advisory Services | Customer Success/Sales
Position Overview:
The Global Customer Reference & Advocates Team mission is to identify, inspire, and engage customers throughout their journey and empower them to share their relevant, inspiring SAP experiences. This is an exciting role that combines a strategic customer-facing experience, customer marketing, and sales support. The Customer Reference Manager would serve as a reference resource for North America, aligning with regional sales and other customer-facing teams to facilitate references for sales opportunities as well as recruitment and cultivation of key customer references.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide proactive customer reference support for North America field teams – Serve as trusted advisor by providing timely references to accelerate pipeline and maximize positive exposure of SAP customer successes.
Orchestrate and coordinate customer reference recruitment pipeline. Identify and document customer references to support sales and marketing requirements. Build reference customer relationships to leverage those relationships to deliver quality sales support.
Ensure a high level of field engagement by developing relationships with Sales and Sales Leadership within North America assigned Market Unit.
Execute scalable reference programs, including 1:few Customer Conversations group calls and Customer Connect Centers at SAP tier 1 events, to broaden use of our best references.
Nominate great customer stories for marketing asset creation, for media and analyst relations activities, SAP Innovation Awards, other key amplification programs.
Use customer reference systems to document high-quality customer reference data.
Collaborate with reference team colleagues globally and participate in global and local reference projects for continuous development and standardization of best practices.

Work with SAP leadership to align on business needs.
Participate in a collaborative team environment and engage across multiple SAP teams globally.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 45,900 - 101,700 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
