Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Installation Technician based in Norcross, Georgia. This role is in the technology and audio-visual industry, requiring an individual to coordinate, install, and troubleshoot A/V equipment at various client locations across Metro Atlanta. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and team members to ensure the seamless execution of installations while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and execute A/V equipment installations at diverse client sites across Metro Atlanta.
• Manage the entire installation process, from site preparation to system configuration and testing.
• Handle structured cabling installations with precision, ensuring orderly routing and organization of wiring.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and team members to meet established project timelines and exceed client expectations.
• Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues during installations, ensuring optimal functioning of systems.
• Communicate proactively with clients, providing timely updates and addressing questions or concerns during the installation process.
• Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards during all installations.
• Maintain comprehensive records of installation progress, materials utilized, and any challenges encountered.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging A/V technologies to continually enhance skills and expertise.
• Utilize skills in Cable Installation, Cable Television, CAT5, CAT6, and Equipment Installation to deliver top-quality service. Requirements • Proficiency in Cable Installation and Cable Television set-up is required.
• Familiarity with CAT5 and CAT6 cabling systems is essential.
• Prior experience with Equipment Installation is necessary.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Audio Visual equipment setup and troubleshooting is needed.
• The candidate must possess the ability to work independently and solve technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
• Physical fitness to handle equipment installation tasks and work in different installation environments.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe and correct installation of equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• A valid driver's license to travel to different installation sites.
• Commitment to adhere to safety procedures and company regulations.
