Our client, a leader in heavy industrial services, is seeking a Pump Service Fabricator to join their team. As a Pump Service Fabricator, you will be part of the fabrication department supporting essential repair and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Pump Service Fabricator

Location: Norfolk, VA

Pay Range: $22.00 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.

• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe lengths.

• Work collaboratively in a repair shop environment to troubleshoot and resolve pump performance issues.

• Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.

• Assemble pipe orders and maintain work supplies in an organized manner.

What's Needed?

• 6 recent months of mechanically inclined background, such as maintenance or machine repairs.

• Ability to read and use measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

• Hands-on experience with centrifugal pumps, including vertical turbines and split case pumps.

• Ability to interpret installation and operations manuals and schematics accurately.

• Physical capability to stand, bend, twist, lift, and pull for a full 8-hour shift.
