Pan Energy Services, Limited Partnership Engineering Intern- Storage Engineering in North Canton, Ohio

Posting End Date: March 23, 2025 Employee Type: Students (Fixed Term)-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position Enbridge Gas Ohio, a natural gas distribution company serving 1.2 million customers in the state of Ohio, is currently looking for an Engineering intern to work at its Storage Operations office in North Canton, Ohio! The Storage Operations team is responsible for operating 800 storage wells, 225 miles of storage pipeline, and several withdrawal stations. The incumbent will work with management, Storage engineers and field personnel; performing various tasks related to data analysis, well design, and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience using engineering methods, calculations, standard procedures, and industry practices. The Engineering intern will work directly with our Storage engineers and other partners to perform tasks and analysis related to well assets and Storage pipelines. This includes research and updates to well records, drafting pipeline valve procedures, and process development. The intern will gain exposure to project planning, construction, and pipeline operations. What You Will Do: Assist management with compliance tracking. Assist engineers with records research, data analysis, and reporting. Visit EGO Storage facilities and various field locations. Learn to use existing company systems designed to monitor the status of Storage facilities. Support departmental personnel responsible for monitoring project progress related to schedule and cost. Participate in staff functions including staff meetings, volunteer events and information sessions. Who You Are: Enrolled in a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum or Industrial Engineering. Expected graduation date of June 2026. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Previous internship experience with Enbridge Gas Ohio Personal computer software applications including Microsoft Office. Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Effective time management, organization, analysis and problem solving. Demonstrated teamwork, attention to detail along with ability to establish and apply workflow processes. Must hold a valid driver's license. Education Requirements Candidates must be enrolled in a 4 year ABET-accredited Engineering program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum or Industrial Engineering with an expected graduation date of June 2026. 3.0 GPA or higher is required. Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to): Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, reads fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
