Robert Half Front Desk Coordinator in North Charleston, South Carolina

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, your main duty will be to manage front desk operations in our office, ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment. You will also be tasked with facility service coordination, meeting and event planning, and providing administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for both visitors and staff, ensuring a high level of customer service

• Professionally handle and direct incoming calls

• Oversee scheduling and organization of reception area

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of shared spaces such as meeting rooms and common areas

• Communicate with vendors and service providers for facility maintenance and supplies

• Promptly address and resolve any facility-related issues

• Plan, organize, and schedule meetings, including the setup of spaces and equipment

• Coordinate internal events, taking care of logistics, catering, and communication

• Manage meeting room calendars and reservations

• Assist with administrative tasks, which could include filing, data entry, and correspondence

• Keep track of office inventory and supplies

• Provide support to other departments with special projects and tasks as required. Requirements • Proficiency in managing receptionist duties such as greeting visitors, directing calls, and handling queries.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as a Front Desk Coordinator or Receptionist.

• Proficiency in using office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and phone systems.

• Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations calmly.

• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and detail oriented demeanor.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in office administration or relevant field is a plus. TalentMatch®
