    HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a specialist insurance broker, providing insurance products and risk advice to the residential building industry. Formed in 1984, HIAIS is as a joint venture between two leaders in their respective industries, Aon and the Housing Industry Association (HIA).

    Client Executive | North Ryde

    We have an exciting opportunity for you to use your broking experience and join our close-knit HIA Team.

    Joining our high performing team as a Client Executive - you will be responsible for dealing with insurance policies for new clients and renewals of existing HIAIS clients.

    This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to use their Tier1 and experience in broking to grow their insurance career in a challenging, fast-paced and collaborative environment.

    What the day will look like

  • Daily phone interaction with our existing clients regarding their ongoing insurance and risk needs.

  • Building strong rapport with clients by listening to their needs and wants.

  • Asking thorough questions about each client’s requirements and providing suitable education on additional HIAIS products and services.

  • Providing on the spot support to client queries, as well managing multiple ongoing communication with more complex client needs.

  • Responding to occasional customer complaints.

  • Regularly collaborate with the Client Manager regarding your ongoing workload and personal development.

  • Work closely with your colleagues to receive, and provide them, ongoing support regarding client requirements.

  • Be responsible for Credit control of all their client invoicing including debt management, payment enquiries and settlements.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    This position will suit someone with the following experience:

  • General Insurance or Broking experience.

  • Comparable client servicing and sales experience.

  • Tier 1 qualifications in Insurance.

  • Strong experiences using software programs, such as CRM / MS Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to multi-task and complete various complexity of tasks to deadlines.

  • Ability to assess, and complete, work with a high level of attention to detail.
