About the job

We are currently seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician needed for fast growing mail order pharmacy- no pharmacy or retail experience! Must be comfortable with a call center environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all pharmacy rules and regulations

• Interprets faxes, escripts, verbal, and written prescription orders

• Inputs all information into EMED

• Charges credit cards for orders

• Answers patient phone calls and provides excellent customer service

• Processes refill requests from patients and doctors’ offices

• Calls patients about new prescriptions and IVR requests

• Calls doctors for refill requests

• Maintains compliance with Company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Utah Pharmacy Technician License (open to Pharmacy Technician Trainee) (validate UT license here: https://secure.utah.gov/llv/search/index.html)

• 6+ months of retail and/or fulfillment pharmacy experience (looking for high-volume, hands-on pharmacy/prescription experience)

• Detail and goal oriented

• Team player

• Effective oral and written communication
