The City of Woonsocket is searching for a Temporary Janitor/Custodian for the Woonsocket Police Department. Working under the supervision of the Chief of Police and/or his designee, the Janitor performs a wide variety of job duties. Specific job duties are, but not limited to the following: responsible for all general cleaning and maintenance of the Police Department building, performs cleaning services as necessary on a daily or weekly basis, supervises and maintains the Police Department building grounds, cleans and maintains all tools and equipment, assists in snow removal, and works on other general related tasks as assigned. A high school diploma or a GED equivalent, is required; and must have previous custodial or janitorial work experience.
