Description We are searching for a Sr. Performance Engineer to join our team in O FALLON, Missouri. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the tech industry. As a Sr. Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for driving product development, setting up tests, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and maintaining project-related metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end product development for Payment Networks, leveraging significant experience in performance engineering.

• Set up and conduct performance tests independently, without developer influence.

• Utilize Blazemeter for performance testing of Java applications.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues swiftly and effectively.

• Maintain and present project-related metrics for management review.

• Coordinate between teams located in various locations.

• Leverage strong technical skills in Java and Spring Boot Framework.

• Experience in Full Stack Development is desirable – Microservices, Messaging, Cloud Native, Database.

• Adhere to Agile methodology as a Performance Architect in Cloud Application.

• Cultivate in-depth knowledge in product development – Full stack (Database, Messaging, UI, Reporting).

• Use tools such as T3, Jmeter, Blazemeter, Java Micro Benchmark Harness (JMH), Micro Services, NATS or equivalent messaging services.

• Develop online/real-time scalable solutions.

• Spearhead quality initiatives and ensure high standards of code quality. Requirements • Proven experience as a Senior Performance Engineer or similar role

• Proficiency in Java programming language

• Expertise in Backend Testing

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Blazemeter

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Commitment to staying informed about latest industry trends and advancements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
