The Town of Ocean Citys Transportation Department is accepting applications for Summer 2025. Transportation Dispatchers are responsible for performing multiple functions for Transportation Bus Operations including but not limited to taking ADA reservations for paratransit trips, answering calls for information on transit and radio communications. Dispatching bus drivers for assignment and distribution of tickets.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Position Details:

• A high school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in a transportation dispatch position or related field.

``` - Must be able to pass pre-employment and random Drug and Alcohol tests. - Must be able to pass a background check. - Hourly rate $17.39 for new transportation dispatchers and $17.74 for returning transportation dispatchers ( who meet specified requirements).
