Overview\ The Settlement Clerk contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by processing all cash and checks, reconciled to the daily route activities of Full Service Vending and Geo Box Delivery Drivers.
Responsibilities\ - Prepare daily bank deposits for Conventional and FSV activity (scan checks, count currency and coin)\ - Provide coaching and training to Delivery Drivers on document and cash compliance requirements\ - Process all Full Service Vending (FSV) coin; count, sort, wrap and box\ - Prepare and reconcile FSV coin floats and coin bags\ - Coordinate servicing of coin and cash office equipment and replenishment of supplies\ - Enter and track daily route variances in Excel spreadsheet and follow through to resolve variances within 48 hours\ - Provide a weekly review and analysis of non-compliant and variance trends\ - Work with EDM/CESR/AR team re: Masterfiles (Set up new Customer #\'s, inactivate customers, add loc/credit app, NSF customer payment term changes, org or route maintenance, sales tax exemptions, eCheck setup)\ - Administer specific applications/time bound processes include specific SME tasks (Dispute Management, S/4 Hana, ERT, SAP Masterfiles, Respond & recover) in an accurate and timely manner
Compensation and Benefits:\ - The expected compensation range for this position is between \$38,700 - \$61,850\ - Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications\ - High School Diploma required; concentration in accounting an asset\ - Three years of relevant cashiering/business experience an asset\ - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office\ - Demonstrated ownership and initiative to ensure a safe and functional work environment within the cash office\ - Ability to work independently and under time constraints with minimal supervision\ - Ability to multi-task and prioritize work\ - Excellent communication skills - ability to influence others\ - Ability to lift approximately 20lb - 30lb coin bags and/or boxes\ - This position requires repetitive squatting and bending
