Our Sheldon Hill residence is located just west of Kingston, in Olivebridge – a quiet hamlet in the town of Olive, and is the home to six energetic and very funny ladies. AND it’s also a wonderful employment option for you!
This home, nestled in the heart of the Catskills, is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. The ladies love to be active and enjoy spending time with the staff at Sheldon Hill. In the warmer weather, an afternoon walking around town might be on the agenda -- or maybe just spending time together on their large outdoor patio, enjoying the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. If it’s a day where they’re inside, jewelry-making or another craft project is probably going to be on the list -- or perhaps a day of baking! Whatever it is, you can be sure that staff will be a big part of the fun!
The ladies enjoy getting to know new staff and will quickly include them in all of the fun at Sheldon Hill. If you are new to the field of Human Services, or you are seeking an opportunity where you can enrich the lives of others while also having fun at work, Sheldon Hill is the perfect choice!
A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
