Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer who is quality-conscious and innovative, with a strong focus on cost reduction.

• The ideal candidate will be adept at adapting to rapidly changing business environments and supporting organizational goals.

• The role involves considering workflow, layout, and safety measures when designing industrial plants and facilities, and coordinating quality control objectives to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.

Responsibilities

• Visualize and apply demanding customer expectations into design and testing.

• Find alternative, more effective ways to address challenges and seize opportunities.

• Reduce cost of goods sold (COGS) without impacting customer expectations.

• Respond quickly and flexibly to changing business environments to support goals.

• Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.

• Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.

• Direct processes for new products, including materials, equipment, and tooling.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering

• Experience with dimensional tolerance, new product costing, lean manufacturing, cost-saving, project management, IQ/OQ/PQ validation, and packaging

• Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Process, Packaging, or Mechanical

• Capital improvement experience including workflow, layout, safety measures, process improvement, process development, cost reduction, quality control, and inventory control

• Comfortable interfacing with clients

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Provide engineering support to production, marketing, and quality control departments

• Good understanding of supply chain

• Focus areas include packaging materials, equipment, products, distribution, and procedural practices

Work Environment

• The work environment is clean, adhering to high standards, especially as it involves packaging pharmaceutical products.

• The role includes working with packaging materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with strict procedural practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
