Signature Aviation Fuel & Facilities Project Manager in Orlando, Florida

We are seeking a Fuel & Facilities Project Manager to support the FBO Maintenance department by overseeing fuel system and facilities management projects. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, technical knowledge, and strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing bid processes, overseeing project execution, conducting site visits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating project close-outs. They will play a key role in fuel quality control operations, inspections, and design, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with industry safety and quality standards.

  • Develop comprehensive bid documents for fuel and facilities projects in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Evaluate bids and assist in the award process, ensuring adherence to established procurement procedures.

  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to define project requirements, specifications, and timelines.

  • Provide technical input during the design phase to align projects with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project milestones, challenges, and budget impacts.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication to ensure alignment across teams and resolve project issues proactively.

  • Conduct routine site visits to monitor construction progress, adherence to specifications, and safety compliance.

  • Identify and address potential issues or discrepancies by collaborating with project teams to implement solutions.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project close-out, completing all necessary documentation and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and best practices for future initiatives.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in fuel quality program management or safety management.

  • Previous experience in aviation fuel quality control operations, inspections, and design is required.

Additional knowledge and skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring projects stay on track.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards related to fuel systems and facilities management.
