Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) - "W-TRS"

Job Description:

*Develops, implements, and maintains the cybersecurity policies and procedures in alignment with legal, regulatory, and requirements.

*Conducts risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to information systems.

*Develops and implements risk mitigation strategies, and monitor their effectiveness over time.

*Develops and delivers security awareness training programs for employees to ensure they understand the cybersecurity risks and their roles in mitigating these risks.

*Leads the response to cybersecurity incidents, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.

*Conducts post-incident analysis to prevent future incidents and improve the security posture.

*Coordinates and supports internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions for any identified compliance gaps.

*Oversees the management of access controls and identity management processes to ensure only authorized users have access to critical systems and data.

*Reviews and recommends security technologies and controls to enhance the security posture.

*Oversees the monitoring of information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities.

*Provides regular security reports to management, detailing the organization's security posture and any areas of concern

*Continuously reviews and updates the programs cybersecurity strategies and practices in response to evolving threats and technological advancements.

Education/Experience:

(10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree)

Certifications:

8 750 Dod Certification

Current and active U.S. Secret Clearance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The worker is primarily in an office environment. Programs will require travel to and working in outside environments at government locations from hot and dry to cold and humid. PPE required to mitigate environmental and safety hazards.
