Robert Half HR Business Partner in Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Description

We are currently in search of an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This role will be pivotal in maintaining a solid understanding of employment laws, health and safety regulations, company policies, and HR best practices. You will be responsible for overseeing all recruitment-related activities, managing the onboarding process for newly hired employees, and leading the direction of the safety program, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and interpretation for managers and employees on employment laws, health and safety regulations, company policies, and HR best practices.

• Oversee recruitment activities, including advertising open positions, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and making job offers.

• Manage the onboarding of new hires and support the offboarding of departing employees.

• Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations issues.

• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and recommend solutions to address skill gaps and develop talent.

• Supervise payroll processing and related reporting.

• Direct the safety program and promote a culture of safety among staff.

• Maintain HRIS data and perform monthly audits.

• Generate and present HR metrics to management.

• Support the annual performance evaluation process.

• Deliver presentations and training on HR and safety topics.

• Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as required.

Requirements

• Understanding of Compliance in HR practices

• Proven experience in Employee Relations

• Ability to handle Full Cycle Recruiting

• Experience in conducting New Hire Orientations

• Skill in Mentoring New Hires

• Familiarity with Onboarding process

• Expertise in Employee Training.
