Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) policies in line with industry regulations.

  • Oversee deep excavation works and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

  • Lead and manage a team of site safety personnel, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with WSH standards.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies, including the development of Risk Management Implementation Plans (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workplace safety procedures, manuals, and industry best practices, including Design for Safety (DfS) appreciation courses.

  • Regularly review and update safety manuals, and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of WSH experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years working with a developer or main contractor.

  • Specialized Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in deep excavation works.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team of site safety personnel.

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health Disciplines, or a related field.

  • MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with at least 5 years of practice.

  • Certified in Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or an equivalent course.

  • in Design for Safety (DfS) appreciation course.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Well-versed in Workplace Safety & Health procedures and manuals.

  • Ability to stay updated with industry standards and regulatory changes.

  • Must be willing to work shifts when necessary.
