System Analyst

System Analyst is responsible for performing project-level technical analysis, design, documentation, support, and modification of a diversity of Data systems.
Responsibilities
Participate in planning and development of data-related projects
Collect and analyze business & system requirements
Take part in design and testing of new systems
Examine current systems and carry out regular reviews of how well they are supporting the organization
Perform basic data analysis by database querying and result set processing & transformation
Work and collaborate with stakeholders and project team members
Create documentation and reports as required
Research and make recommendations on software products and services
Produce specifications and provide training for new or modified systems
Provide technical end-user support, including researching issues, answering technical questions, and/or assisting with application revisions
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
4+ years of experience in project-level system analysis and support
Strong understanding of Business and System processes and design principles
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling and methodology development, and data mapping
Experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems
Knowledge of database design principles and integration techniques
Ability to use SQL and/or Python languages to access and analyze data
Experience with end-user analytical tools, like BI Reporting and ML/AI technologies, is a plus
Familiarity with cloud technologies, including Azure, Data Lake, Lakehouse, MS Fabric.
Experience with real-time streaming solutions analysis and development, including Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hub, is a plus
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets
Familiarity of system and software SDLC cycle, DevOps, quality assurance best practices and methods
Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills
Excellent technical skills and enthusiasm to continue to develop them
Ability to work in a team
Written and verbal communication skills
Existing Security clearance is an advantage
