Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Pageland, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager Equipment Operator to join their growing team!

The main responsibility of an equipment operator is to perform a variety of tasks related to the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Load/unload cargo

  • Inspect equipment before and after use

  • Identify and perform minor equipment repairs

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection

  • Adhere to all safety regulations

  • Maintain activity logs

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Read, write, and speak English

  • Forklift experience, preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to handle 50 lbs.

  • Exposure to dust, vibration, noise, temperature variations and rotating equipment

  • Ability to use personal protective equipment is required

  • Must be physically able to operate a forklift

Pay rate for this position is $15 an hour with a chance to become permanent with client.

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
