Job Description:

Assist in the conduction of field experiments, by planting, and harvesting of sugarcane field experiments. Perform millable stalk counts for yield estimations. Maintain research trials on both sand and muck soil at grower fields.

Assist scientists in research leading to identification, selection, and proper management of sugarcane cultivars suitable for muck and sandy soils. Monitor plant growth and development in field research plots. Assist in maintaining accurate records and data management for sugarcane experiments.

Keep field plots and sugarcane experiments weed-free, orderly, and under good conditions.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the sugarcane breeding program.

Expected Salary:

$20.00 hourly
