The Role

Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development, this candidate will be part of a vital Financial Partnerships team, charged with expanding our current partnership footprint to create new revenue streams, build audience, and drive member engagement, for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

The Manager, Partner Sales & Business Development will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and closing new partnerships for the organization with a focus on loyalty point sales, point transfer partnerships, marketing and media campaigns, and offsite media/data monetization. In this role, the candidate will leverage existing relationships and create new ones to achieve revenue targets, and to successfully expand upon their vast network, the candidate will research, email and call prospects leverage LinkedIn and other sales tactics. This role is performance-driven so the ideal candidate will possess self-motivation, an assertive approach and understand the pressure of meeting sales targets.

What you'll do

  • Develop strategies to attract and secure new clients, including cold outreach, networking and leveraging existing relationships.

  • Build lists of leads from existing connections, cultivate a deep and trusted network of potential partners.

  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials

  • Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities

  • Evolve business development decks and pitch to prospects and close partners that are aligned with company goals and objectives

  • Manage business development strategy for new potential partnerships, including pipeline, sourcing, presentation pitches, opportunity assessment and contract negotiations.

  • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand feasibility of implementing and operationalizing each deal.

  • Support Senior Director, Business Development on maintaining CRM, business development playbook, compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential partners.

  • Track all opportunities, pipeline, and bookings to provide forecasts and funnel management reports.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of business development/sales with experience handling multiple high-tough relationships at one time.
