The role of Operations Manager is the frontline leader for Coastline driving instructors in Southern California. The Operations Managers will act as the branch manager providing fleet support, administrative support, and engaging with instructors. They also work with the HQ team remotely via Zoom meetings and frequent messaging to keep processes running as people-friendly and efficiently as possible. The Operations Manager is responsible for keeping documents and state compliance in top shape, while maintaining our fleet of cars in the greater Los Angeles area.

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
A valid driver's license in California
A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience
Experience as an office manager, operations manager, branch manager, shift lead is preferred
Strong organizational skills
Strong professional writing skills as well as experience speaking professionally with state officials
Intermediate computer skills, app skills, and mobile app skills
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working in our Los Angeles office during core business hours as the sole point of contact for the Los Angeles office
Drive up to 4 hours at a time in Company vehicle for work related tasks as well as willingness to travel by air up to 10% of the time
Attending all meetings and 1:1s punctually on Zoom video, in person, professionally, and in line with the Meetings at Coastline standard
Support the business needs with car shuffling, servicing vehicles, and after hours support when necessary
Maintain regular touchpoints and communication with your supervisor and HQ on status of California operations
Maintain necessary reporting accurately and timely
Be a professional and positive liaison between HQ and Instructors
Complete Areas of Responsibility with accuracy
Willingness to support projects to help support the growth of Coastline
Effectively and professionally use Coastline tools & technology to drive business (including but not limited to Slack, Google, Coastline website, Coastline vehicle and materials, Divvy, Breve, etc)
Maintain Coastline Core Values and help build a positive and professional culture and exude these traits in all interactions
Be an advocate for Coastline's initiatives and be a brand ambassador to Instructors
Other duties as assigned to you by HR or the Director of Behind the Wheel Operations
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle
Must be able to see and hear during all weather conditions
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, touch, feel
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
