What is the Job all about?

This job will be responsible for identifying the potential & actual causes of incidents and reducing the probability of the impacts of incidents by providing solutions and workarounds, including the creation of known errors.

You will report to the Supervisor and be assigned to work in Manila, Philippines.

Your main responsibilities:

The major tasks for the Support Engineer include but are not limited to the following:

• Interacts with Grundfos end users with a professional, positive customer service attitude.

• Supports all IS Solutions documented in the Global IS Service Catalog

• Accurate and timely recording of all incidents, service requests, and requests for standard changes.

• Provides first-line support, troubleshooting, and resolution of all incidents, service requests, and requests for standard changes.

• Provides information and assists in creating knowledgebase articles for use by all IS Support personnel and end-users.

• When required, assist in root cause analysis of documented problems.

• Recommends changes to procedures within the IS Service Desk to improve service delivery.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

• 0-3 years of relevant work experience in a Service Desk / Helpdesk / technical environment (Fresh graduates will be also considered).

• Basic to intermediate skills in major application areas (e.g. MS O365, SAP, mobility, OS, etc.)
