**TITLE: HVAC/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma
2. Three years experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities listed below.
3. HVAC Certification
4. Other duties by Director of Maintenance/Transportation Depts. or Superintendent

**REPORTS TO: Transportation/Maintenance Director

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains and makes repairs on boilers and all other HVAC system according to specifications and HVAC codes.
2. Make decisions on the job as related to the HVAC systems
3. Reads wiring diagram and blueprints and follows engineering specifications.
4. Follows the standard purchasing procedure for the school system.
5. Maintains filter system on all HVAC systems in all schools and offices.
6. Plan and install new HVAC systems in all schools and offices.
7. Performs other tasks assigned by the maintenance director.
8. Install maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems using blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
