Stantec are seeking talented Graduates to join our Graduate Transport Engineer (Bridges) Program in our Transport Delivery team in Perth.

What does a Bridge Engineer in our Transport Delivery team do?

  • Develop concept and detailed designs of simple and complex bridges, culverts, underpasses, retaining walls and other transport infrastructure structures.

  • Coordinate with bridge designers and modellers to produce drawing deliverables.

  • Plan and carry out site inspections, when required.

  • Prepare design documentation, technical reports and project specifications.

  • Manage interface with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders.

  • Liaise with clients as directed by project managers, to ensure project deliverables are submitted within the required timeframes.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or Structural), with interest in bridges

  • Effective communication and report-writing skills

  • Passion for learning and problem-solving

  • Eligible to work in Australia

  • Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation

  • Knowledge of relevant software such as Spacegass, CAD tools and Strand 7 is beneficial but not essential
