Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

We are offering a role for a Desktop Support Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our users, handling various issues ranging from network problems to hardware/software failures. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be expected to provide timely and effective solutions to our users' technical problems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving problems related to hardware, software, and network issues.

• Handle ticket intake, ensuring all relevant information is collected and properly recorded.

• Set up and configure computers and peripheral devices for users, ensuring all necessary software is installed and properly configured.

• Provide assistance with email-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and guiding users through steps to resolve issues.

• Offer AV support, setting up, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for presentations and meetings.

• Serve as an all-around technician, handling a variety of tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Utilize skills in Support Tickets, Computer Hardware, and Desktop Hardware to effectively resolve technical issues and maintain high levels of user satisfaction.

• Proactively monitor and maintain systems to prevent issues and improve performance.

• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements to our processes and systems.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role

• Proficiency in handling support tickets is required

• Must have a strong understanding of Computer Hardware

• Experience in managing Desktop Hardware is essential

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction

• Knowledge of various operating systems and desktop applications

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

• Must have strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently

• Must possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
