Description

We are partnering with a well-respected client to find a talented Human Resource Generalist to come aboard a high performing team. The HR Generalist is a strategic troubleshooter who aids in daily human resource needs for the specified workforce. You will engage directly with the General Manager and project heads to devise solutions that mirror the firm's commercial goals. You are practical, possess leadership abilities, and, especially, appreciate the hands-on method and constant activity.

Major responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day people operations needs for the assigned employee population.

• Communicate proactively with the General Manager and program leadership to develop integrated solutions.

• Administer benefits and compensation in compliance with organizational policies.

• Foster positive employee relations and resolve any related issues.

• Develop and implement organizational development strategies.

• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

• Utilize analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills for effective HR management.

Requirements

The ideal HR Generalist candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.

Other requirements for the HR Generalist position include and are not limited to:

  • 2+ years’ work experience required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Logistics or Non-profit experience preferred

  • Experience with childcare

  • Ability to multitask and to be a self-starter.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
