The work:

Accenture Federal Services, in partnership with Anser Advisory (an Accenture company) is looking for a Quality Manager to join our growing Utility teams on a multiphase, 6-year project. This project will make improvements to the electrification system to an area that extends 18 miles through Southeast Pennsylvania along 17 rail stations and includes full project and construction management of new transmission Lines, Electric substation rebuilds, and Electric overhead catenary wire replacement.

Quality Manager will be responsible for the oversight and enforcement of the Quality Management Plan. Quality Manager will implement and maintain processes in accordance with applicable Quality Policies and Procedures relevant to the specified scope of work You are also accountable for achieving targets established for customer satisfaction and profitability by improving quality and service delivery. They are responsible for creating, reviewing, analyzing, accepting, or rejecting, as applicable, reports for nonconformance data with a focus for continuous improvement. You must be able to coordinate and communicate with site inspectors, engineers, contractors, and other project team members, and prepare for potential facility audits and to ensure compliance with the QA plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the contractor(s)’ quality control and quality assurance procedures and their compliance with the Contract Documents.

  • Conduct quality oversight of the contractor(s) activities, including review of the contractor(s)’ activities to ensure that quality is monitored consistently and that the Project is in compliance with the Contract Documents.

  • Review and provide comments on the Engineer of Record and contractor(s)’ quality control plan including any resubmittals or updates.

  • Review and approve the contractor(s) Inspection and Testing Program documentation including Quality Work Plans (“QWP”); inspection checklists and records, and all Hold Points.

  • Leads improvement initiatives.

  • Leads Quality Team communication.

  • Ensures implementation, oversight, and management of the Quality Assurance Program on a site level basis.

  • Maintain a non-conformance log and provide analysis of process nonconformance data.

  • Provide deficiency reports regarding the progress and quality of the contractor(s)’ activities, problems, deficiencies, issues, and concerns with respect to the status of the Project and recommendations to address issues.

  • Hold Preparatory meetings, with the participation of the contractor(s), EOR, and client prior to the start of a particular type of work.

  • Leads and participates in continuous improvement opportunities resulting from Process Nonconformance data analysis.

  • Contributes to the overall performance from the standpoints of safety, quality, and profitability.

  • Manage in-process inspection and final inspection audits to ensure compliance with quality program.

  • Facilitates root cause and corrective action processes with cross-functional operations team.

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction or related degree is preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years directly related experience for the oversight and enforcement of the Quality Management Plan.

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Preferred qualification - OSHA safety certification - 10 hrs

Work location is 100% on site in Southeast Pennsylvania.**

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$103,200—$213,600 USD
