BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated *Patient Package Processor at *Phoenix, AZ**

Job Title: Patient Package Processor

Work Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85007

Expected Duration: 4 months contract

Pay Rate: \$19.77/hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Position Description

This position provides mail and property services to the staff at the Hospital as well as manages all postal services for the patients assigned to the Civil and Forensic Hospitals.

This position is required to ensure all assigned patients assigned to the Forensic and Civil Hospitals are able to receive packages and mail from the public ensuring no contraband/unapproved items enter the facility.

This position is responsible in tracking all incoming and outgoing mail/packages protecting the Hospital from liable claims.

This position shall sort and collate all incoming and outgoing mail following established processes outlined by the United States Postal Service.

This position will issue patient packages, mail, conduct Courier duties as required and ensure all incoming/outgoing mail is tracked and recorded for accountability.

Experience Required

State employees require a valid Arizona Driver\'s license and the ability to drive as a rover.

A State Hospital employee must be able to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card pursuant to A.R.S. 41-1758.07. - Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR and NVCI certifications

Driving is required for State Business.

State Employees who drive on state business require possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver\'s license appropriate to the assignment.

Education Required

Possess at least one years of progressive responsibility in a Mailroom setting, preferably in a mental health care facility or in a hospital/institution, or a prison/jail.
