Job Summary

  • Operate specialized equipment to produce quality images for diagnostic interpretation.

  • Must be familiar with radiation safety procedures relating to patient and self.

  • Practices radiation safety and consistently follows all established procedures to assure safety and accuracy.

  • Identify each patient using dual identification and review each patient’s chart/requisition prior to performing the procedure.

  • Responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of routine or special procedures.

Education and/or Experience

  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.

Required License/Certification/Registration

  • Must be certified by and maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

  • Must have and maintain 1 or more additional radiology certification beyond ARRT registration and certification.

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks

  • Day, Evening, and Night shifts

  • Occasional weekend

  • Occasional holiday

  • Occasional call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
