Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cost Accountant to join our team in the Pinellas Park, FL area. In this role, you will be integral in managing job costs, performing variance analysis, and maintaining fixed assets.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of job costs and cost journals for the General Ledger

• Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify, explain, and correct variances in the financial data

• Manage and maintain fixed assets to ensure accurate financial records

• Oversee construction in progress, ensuring all costs are accounted for accurately

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline and automate the accounting processes

Requirements

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Must have cost accounting experience

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Ability to manage Cash Activity
