Staffmark Investment, LLC Packaging Machine Operator in Piqua, Ohio

Staffmark, in partnership with Hobart Brothers, a welding wire manufacturing company in Piqua, OH, is seeking Machine Operators for their operations. Pay Rate: $19.40/hour Shifts Available: Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM As a Machine Operator for Hobart Brothers, you will be responsible for operating welding machines, handling wire spools, bagging, labeling, and packaging products. This role involves using a staple gun and stacking items on skids. Some machines handle 50 lb welding wire spools, making this a physically demanding and repetitive job in a hot and sometimes dirty environment. There may also be opportunities for cross-training on drawbenches, which shape flat steel into tubular forms. Additional responsibilities include monitoring machines, adding flux (powder lube), performing quality checks, butt welding wire together, and restringing machines in case of breaks.
