Position Description:

We are on a mission to drive exponential growth within the Great Lakes Business Unit (BU). We are seeking a Business Strategy and Growth Leader to support the BU leadership team with development and execution of growth objectives. This position reports directly to the BU leader (SVP) and has accountability for leading efforts to architect and win large, managed services opportunities across our client base. As a recognized expert, you'll leverage your deep understanding of business domains to drive innovation and excellence. You'll engage with executives across both CGI and client organizations, fostering partnerships that lead to mutual success.

The preferred locations for this hybrid position are Pittsburgh, PA, Columbus, OH or Cleveland, OH metro areas.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Through relationships and market analysis and assessment, identify potential opportunities across all industries

• Collaborate on qualifying a targeted list of prospective opportunities

• Lead the development and execution of a “pursuit” strategy engaging leaders as necessary

• Personally develop and sustain C-suite customer relationships throughout the pursuit

• Represent CGI as an expert and role model in the marketplace, enhancing the CGI brand (e.g. presenting at external forums)

• Work on strategic Managed IT & Business Process Services Opportunities deals within different functions (e.g. as OPL, Bid Manager, Solution Lead, Coach/Advisor or independent assessor)

• Have a clear picture where a partner can provide capabilities to enhance our value proposition and assist in establishing alliances

• Keep laser-focused on the service offering to ensure a mutually-beneficial value proposition that meets the client s expectations

• Continue engagement with client senior executives and coach the CGI delivery team management during the early stages of delivery to ensure a successful transition of responsibilities

• Participate in governance meetings between the client and CGI delivery management to ensure a smooth transition and help manage client expectations for up to a year of the start of an engagement

• Act as coach and trusted advisor to ensure the appropriate activity and volume of opportunities are maintained to achieve business plans

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Proven track record leading year over year double-digit revenue growth in IT Services, including Managed Services and Outsourcing, for a portfolio of accounts within geography or industry sector

•Ability to translate strategies (both within CGI and for the client) into clear, realistic and action-oriented plans

• Strong technical aptitude and have demonstrated the ability to design complex technical solutions

• Exceptional consulting acumen to engage most senior executives on strategic priorities and begin to define how CGI s value proposition could be of benefit

• Voracious learner staying abreast of business and technological evolution and using that insight to continually generate innovative solutions

• Positively influence colleagues and clients to take decisions and actions that benefit the business

• Comfortable in engaging executive teams and leaders, in strategic and complex discussions

• Managed significant IT organization P&L – or significant portions of an IT P&L

• Working knowledge of corporate finance

• Deep understanding of how IT budgets are constructed and managed

• Insight into key measures and metrics that may indicate execution challenges or opportunities for client CIO s

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900 - $294,000.
