As a Product Delivery Manager in Deposit 2.0 team, you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable implementations in an expedient and organized way. You will play a pivotal role working closely with the Product Owners, Product Analysts and Engineering teams on multiple initiatives, dependencies, identifying end to end testing customer journeys to be validated in integration environments, lead through execution, delivery and communicate results. This role provides an opportunity to create standards promote efficient process improvements in the testing space and be an advocate for the business ensuring positive and negative results from testing are communicated, tracked, and not repeated and ultimately demonstrate to business partners that functionality is as expected.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination.

  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and provides advisory on adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners.

  • Leads a shift-left approach to engage early in the initiative during the discovery phases and play a functional lead/mentor role for teammates.

  • Conducts business analysis in partnership with the product management and technology teams to identify gaps early.

  • Influences the requirement formulation phase and lead the teams to adopt behavior driven development or any other framework.

  • Uses the analysis during planning and findings during execution phases to create required testing artifacts that will help deliver the end-to-end test strategy developed by the team to deliver the project start to finish.

  • Understands and assess the cross impacts across line of businesses and product team to develop a seamless end-to-end test engagement and strategy, improve engagement through effective dependency management, pick ownership of applications outside of deposits2.0 to drive autonomy in the process.

  • Comes up with new ideas for continuous improvement initiatives that are related to projects or processes through retrospect, optimization, automation, and documentation and lead them to completion.

  • Works towards T-shaped responsibility that spans across product delivery and management roles such as readiness, release management and support, production validation testing as needed or prescribed by leadership.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area

  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities.

  • Strong understanding of delivery and a demonstration of implementing continuous improvement processes

  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies

  • 5+ years Quality Assurance/User acceptance testing experience with hands on creating test plans, test scenarios and test scripts required.

  • 5+ years' experience in concepts and tools that support Mainframe testing, Application Programming Interface testing, Database testing, User experience and Customer Journey testing and tools such as Postman, Splunk etc.

  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, QTest, Bugzilla, Rally, Zephyr or equivalent

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, master's preferred

  • Hands on experience with automation tools/capabilities such as Selenium, TOSCA, Eggplant, Cypress etc. will be a plus.

  • Experience creating test reports using tools like Tableau or QlikView will be a plus.
