POSITION TITLE: FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE\ \ LOCATION: Alameda Middle School\ \ POSTING DATE: July 29, 2024\ \ CLOSING DATE: Position will be open until filled.\ \ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Approximately 29.5 hours per week\ \ DAYS: Nine-month employment\ \ SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be \$12.91 per hour.\ \ START DATE: Beginning of 2024-25 school year.\ \ JOB SUMMARY: Prepare, distribute, and serve food for breakfast and lunches. Duties will include preparing cafeteria for meal services. Work requires some physical exertion and heavy lifting (50 pounds - for example - cases of canned foods, trays of canned food and trays of dishes.)\ \ JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.\ \ \ \ BENEFITS INFORMATION: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employee\'s Retirement are available to Classified employees who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position.
