Job Title: Administrator/Admissions Coordinator

Job Summary
This position supports Purpose Academy (PA) operations and runs the admissions process. It is a dual role that interfaces with parents, students, and PA faculty and staff. This position is responsible for administrative duties managing the school office. Responsibilities include screening calls, managing calendars, preparing reports, and facilitating customer relations. Additionally, this role partners with PA administration, parents, and teachers, for a safe and effective school day. This role supports PA Administration, manages Step Up for Students (SUFS) platform, provides onboarding/re-enrollment support to our PA families and assists with ongoing operational aspects, professionally and ministerially.
This position requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors. This role requires fluency in written and spoken Spanish as well as strong English skills. There must also be an understanding regarding sensitivity to confidential matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
Ability to share the Gospel

Public Speaking/Public Relations
Problem Solver
Listening and inter/intrapersonal skills
Marketing to local elementary schools and community
Daily support to school personnel
Generate letters and reports
Manage FACTS (student information system)
Financial reporting, financial invoice processing, and tracking expenses
Meeting preparation
Securing and maintaining excellence service from contractors/vendors
Event coordination: planning, preparation, and execution
Operational support: orders, brainstorming, communicating with families, facilitating communication with volunteers, interns, and partners
Support for EI Initiatives, PA, and others as requested
Attend meetings, calls, team sessions
Education Required:
High School Diploma
Bachelor’s degree in education or management (preferred)
Educational experience (preferred)
Other Skills and Abilities
Leadership, teachable, communicator (verbal/written), organizer, decision-maker
Languages
English and Spanish required
Creole and Portuguese preferred
Work Environment

Work week/ hours of work:
Monday – Friday- FULL TIME (7:30-4pm) with weekly staff meetings 3:30-4:30pm
Note: Occasional, special evening events required (i.e., Open Houses, Back to School Nights, Graduation, and others as assigned and scheduled in advance).
