Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a HVAC Mechanic. You will join a highly respected real estate company and will be a part of their facilities team servicing an automotive client. Main function of this role is operated, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment. Individuals must have experience working in a commercial environment and must be computer savvy as they will utilize Maximo and Corrigo as their work order management system. We are not looking for individuals with refrigeration experience, this role is simply working with boilers, chillers, and etc.

Compensation:

$35/hr to start - $38.50/hr after 90-day probation period.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

- 8-10 years in a HVAC Mechanic role. This person must have process equipment experience (Air Handlers, Roof Top Units, Boilers, Chillers, Dry Air Systems, etc).

- Experience with changing out bearings out of an electric motor

- Experience with commercial and residential experience (needs to be more on the commercial side than residential)

- Must have documented notarized letters from previous employers to obtain their union card (Unless they already have their Journeyman card, they dont need it)

- Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting process equipment EPA 608 Universal Certification

 Two years of trades schooling in HVAC

 Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Water Skits experience

 Journeyman Card in HVAC/Refrigeration null
