St. Charles Hospital is the only hospital on Long Island accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation for adults and children. Our Port Jefferson facility, located within St. Charles Hospital, offers one of the most comprehensive CARF-accredited services for outpatient rehabilitation found in a single location anywhere on Long Island. It is a premier resource for Long Islanders who need speech, occupational and physical therapy. Our patients have convenient access to the hospital's radiology and laboratory testing as well as access to a team of physiatrists and other specialty physicians. Requirements: NY State RN license and Registered NYS Nurse Practitioner license, and adult, family or geriatric certification.
