Education and experience:

• Minimum BSc in Biology, Biochemistry or related Life Science discipline.

• Graduate with no or some experience of working in a laboratory.

The role:

• Execute, generate, and interpret data for assigned projects as well as troubleshooting experimental work as required.

• Report on experimental work such as writing technical reports and presentations.

• Contribute to laboratory maintenance and housekeeping e.g. stock control, equipment calibration and ensuring compliance to Heath and Safety requirements.

  The essential requirements for the job include:

• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

• Prioritise and manage time to meet project goals to set deadlines.

• Conduct routine work and maintain high standards in a high throughput environment.

• Able to work to company policies and procedures such as Health and Safety.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Laboratory techniques such as protein analysis, DNA/RNA extraction and cell culture.

• Working in a regulated environment.

• Contributing to continuous improvement.

The role will provide laboratory performance testing support for Laboratory products.
