Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY, located just 90 minutes north of New York City, is seeking a physician assistant to join its new Orthopedic Trauma Department. We have an excellent employed opening for a board-certified full-time surgical physician assistant at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Job Requirements:

-The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified/eligible as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience.

-Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, multi-specialty surgical assisting, and pre/post op care.

Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River, Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a brand new 696,000-square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region, recently adding Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services, cancer care and women and childrens health services.
