Job DescriptionOverviewThis Marketing Innovation Associate Manager - Equipment Development is accountable for driving our strategy and innovation agenda for PepsiCo’s Foodservice Equipment Portfolio. In this role, you will work with several cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Integration, IT, Design, Finance, Strategy, etc.) and lead the agenda on high-priority projects. Candidates will need to be experienced at identifying key business questions and consumer needs, developing & executing product development roadmaps and setting KPIs, and managing projects through matrixed teams to hit key milestones and deliverables.This Associate Marketing Manager will work end to end in the equipment innovation process from building the equipment pipeline, to nurturing early state innovations, conducting beta testing to evaluate equipment viability, and commercializing critical equipment Big Bets for Foodservice across all channels, including Restaurants, Recreation & Retail, and Workplace.The role is highly cross-functional in nature, requiring the ability to work across multiple teams in PepsiCo, successfully managing the matrix, and managing multiple points of communication seamlessly. Specifically, you will interface with internal team members from Integration, Sales, R&D, IT, Customer Marketing, Global Procurement, New Business, Insights, PES, and Finance across all levels of the organization.We are looking for a great leader and strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for product management and technologic development, a strong ability to collaborate, and to make an impact in a rapidly transforming division.Responsibilities* Contribute to the innovation strategy and annual operating plan for the PepsiCo Foodservice Equipment Agenda * Contribute to building the on-going Equipment Innovation Pipeline and technology roadmap that drives our priorities to best meet the needs of consumers and customers* Establish relationships and drive collaboration across multiple teams including Sales, Integration, R&D, IT, Design, Global Procurement, PES, Customer Marketing, New Business, and Insights to build out strategies and pipelines; demonstrate strong leadership to influence cross-functional partners on ongoing equipment projects * Lead the equipment roadmap from initial equipment concept to commercialization* Collect, analyze, and interpret key competitive, consumer, customer, channel, and technology insights that serve as the foundation for the development of winning equipment innovation marketing strategies and tactics* Partner with Finance in consistent tracking, reporting and budget reallocation to support Equipment developmentCompensation and Benefits:* The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.* In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.Qualifications* Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred* Professional experience in marketing, innovation, product management, product development* Consumer-centric Marketer and/or Product Owner who can identify relevant consumer and customer insights, is comfortable with ambiguity, and thrives on change within a fast-paced environmentInterest in working with emerging technologies* Strong self-motivator, capable of setting an agenda and actualizing goals. An analytical and strategic thinker who demonstrates a strong bias for action* Outstanding leadership skills with proven experience in leading cross-functional teams through challenges and effectively influencing an extended organization* Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
