FTE:1.0 _, Shift: _days , Schedule: _M-F Position Summary The Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of work performed by assigned professional staff engaged in respiratory care activities and for providing respiratory therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients of MultiCare. This position operates independently, under limited supervision, providing direction and guidance to assigned Respiratory Therapists, and depending on assigned unit, other non-nursing professionals. This is a working supervisor position. Individuals in this position possess specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care, including the establishment of therapy and treatment objectives, and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient. Requirements Associate's degree or 2 years additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered Bachelor's degree preferred Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy training program Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care 2 years of experience in professional or technical role/function Licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of Washington Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or a supervisory role Current CPR certification required and advanced life support credential required within 90 - 365 days of hire depending on specific position and course availability (NRP, PALS or ACLS) Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $86,944.00 - $125,091.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
