Citigroup Liquidity Governance, Policy and Business Management - AVP/C12 - LONG ISLAND CITY in Queens, New York

The Liquidity Management (LM) team within the Citi Treasury Global Function is responsible for establishing the framework for sizing liquidity requirements including internal stress testing framework, developing contingency funding plans in conjunction with other stakeholders within and outside Citi Treasury, providing liquidity oversight to Citi’s global entities, and ensuring that Citi maintains adequate liquidity appropriately positioned to meet the company’s global needs both in normal market conditions as well as during periods of stress.

Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Accountable for significant direct function results or authoritative advice

regarding the operations of the function. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy and governance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the governance of funding of the balance sheet and liquidity management.

• Involved in liquidity risk committee and forum oversight

• Contributes to management of first line interpretation of Liquidity Policy, first line Liquidity Procedure, liquidity entity structure and contingency funding planning.

• Contributes to parts of the Contingency Funding Planning process and its governance

• Contributes to parts of the Resolution and Recovery Planning process for the liquidity risk stripe.

• Exposure to Citi’s balance sheet and develop understanding of data and technology infrastructure supporting the liquidity reporting and monitoring processes.

• Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by complying with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting issues with transparency.

• Contributes to project prioritization and future state planning.

• Exposure into various facets of Risk and Finance Processes within Citi; interacting with various levels within the organization.

• Performs other duties and functions as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience working for a financial services organization

• Balance Sheet, Treasury or Liquidity experience

• Familiarity with Liquidity Regulations (Regulation YY and Regulation WW)

• Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture

• Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills, i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management

• Exercises proven Power Point and Excel skills; ability to tell a story concisely in Power Point

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to interact with all levels of management

• Must be a team player

$109,120.00 - $163,680.00
